NOTE: Cyborg 009 is my old school favorite! The manga started serialization in 1964. It also had 2 anime films in 1966 and 1967 respectively, and its first anime television series aired in 1968! Cyborg 009 has had more recent anime and manga reboots (and even an American comic!) with much needed character design updates, which is admittedly how I became introduced to this classic series. :)
