Rules and Guidelines

1. You will have 14 days or two weeks to submit your icons.


2. After a round ends there will a voting post.


3. Icons must be submitted as an entry in the community with links provided below.


4. You're free to choose any subject so long as it's animated, this includes cartoons, CG, anime, etc. Animated works by a musician or celebrity (ex. music videos) are also accepted.


5. Your icons must be new and made for the round. They must also meet LJ’s standard requirements of 40kb or under and be 100x100. Animated icons are accepted so long as they meet the requirements.


6. Avoid bias when voting. You should judge an icon based on overall technique and composition, not on it's subject.


7. Do not vote for yourself or get friends to vote for you.


8. Feedback is lovely but hateful comments are not welcome. This community is a safe place where everyone can have fun and be creative.

question about source eligibility

Hi, I have a question: Are static illustrated sources allowed? Like comics, manga or webtoons? The sidebar mentions comics while the rules say “as long as it’s animated”. :o

Btw, thanks for running this comm, it’s really inspiring!
